Building Beyond Cement

Dealer Spotlight: Krunal Patel of Krunal Enterprise
Ask Krunal Patel what makes a project succeed and he doesn’t talk about machinery, margins or material grades. He talks about people. “Collaboration and the coming together of people with different skills and expertise,” says the 40-year-old owner of Krunal Enterprise in Kapadwanj, Kheda, a philosophy that has quietly shaped everything he’s built over the last decade and a half.

For Krunal Patel, 40, owner of Krunal Enterprise in Kapadwanj, Kheda, the secret to a successful project lies in collaboration. “Bringing together people with different skills and expertise” is what, he believes, drives lasting success.

Krunal established his cement and steel business in 2008 and has steadily expanded his portfolio over the years. In addition to his dealership, he is involved in construction, quarry operations, and government projects. For the past two years, he has been associated with Haathi Cement, a partnership he values for its consistent product quality. In an industry where reputation is built project by project, he believes quality is non-negotiable.

Despite managing multiple businesses, family remains at the centre of Krunal’s life. He lives with his parents, wife, and two children, while his brother and family reside in the same town. No matter how demanding his schedule, he makes it a point to spend time with his loved ones every evening. “All my hard work is aimed at giving them the best life possible,” he says.

Travel is another passion that keeps him inspired. Having visited 10 to 12 countries, including destinations across Europe, the United States, Turkey, Singapore, and Thailand, Krunal also enjoys exploring India. Every year, he plans two holidays—one with his family and another with close friends. Among his favourite memories is a seven-day cruise from Mumbai to Goa with his children, a trip he describes as one of the family’s most cherished experiences.

The dynamic nature of his work keeps every day different. While each project brings new opportunities and challenges, managing relationships and expectations in rural communities requires patience and adaptability.

Interestingly, construction was never part of Krunal’s original plan. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree, he briefly considered moving to Australia before realising entrepreneurship was his true calling. A stint in insurance sales confirmed that ambition and eventually led him to establish Krunal Enterprise, laying the foundation for the diversified business he leads today.
