A Journey That Began With Trust
It all started with trust. Ten years ago, a senior officer from Saurashtra Cement was looking for a hardworking dealer to increase the sales of Siddhi Cement. He chose Jagdishbhai. At that time, he was already selling cement for another company for a year. Jagdishbhai was proud to be selected for Siddhi Cement. Before starting his own business, Arya Traders, he had worked in the cement field, so he understood the business very well.

Proving His Capability Through Hard Work
Young people are always eager to try new things, and Saurashtra Cement gave  Jagdishbhai that chance. He proved their confidence was right. He worked hard and for the last two years, he’s been the top seller in the Junagadh region, which includes Junagadh, Porbandar, and Gir-Somnath.

A Difficult but Determined Transition
In an interview with Gajgamini Darpan, Jagdishbhai said that even though he started selling Siddhi Cement, the company he was working with before didn’t want to let him go. It took three years for them to accept his resignation. They even asked him to sell their cement along with Siddhi Cement. But Saurashtra Cement was meant to have him, and he chose Siddhi. He said Saurashtra Cement’s officers had always supported him. The Siddhi Cement plant is also only 18 kilometers away, which is a big advantage.

Growing From a Small Dealer to a Leading One
When Jagdishbhai started his agency, he would sell 20 to 30 tons of cement a year. Presently, he sells 600 to 700 tons. He has become one of the top dealers of the company and has six sub-dealers working with him. He says that just like Saurashtra Cement helped him grow, he also helps his sub-dealers grow.

A Decade of Dedication and Loyalty
Completing ten years with Saurashtra Cement is a big achievement. His happiest memory is receiving his first award from the company. It was a proud moment for him. He works very hard. He wakes up at 5 am and works in his office from 7 am to 9 pm. Today, other companies want him as their dealer, but he’s loyal to Saurashtra Cement. He doesn’t even think about selling any other brand.

His Principles: Honesty, Service, and Support
Answering to a question, he said, “Every business has competition. Some cement companies lower prices to compete, but Saurashtra Cement’s support helps me face any challenge. My main principles are honesty and customer satisfaction. My endeavour has always been to ensure timely delivery of cement to customers. Moreover, I grant sufficient time to them to make payment to me. I also support the company and my sub-dealers. I am always standing by young people when they start their own businesses, just like I was helped in the beginning.”

Trust Earned Through Quality and Fairness
Jagdishbhai said that 95% of his customers buy cement without asking the price because they trust him to give them good quality at a fair price. He’s proud of his hard work and honesty.

Family and Personal Life
Jagdishbhai lives with his parents. His father worked in the Gujarat ST department. His wife’s name is Puranba, and his son Arya is 14 years old and studies in the 9th standard. Arya wishes to join the army.
