Dealer Tour: A Journey of Bonding and Bliss

In September, Saurashtra Cement Limited (SCL) hosted its Good Times Dealers Tour to Kerala, a perfect blend of relaxation, culture and camaraderie. This unforgettable journey through “God’s Own Country” was designed to celebrate our valued dealers, giving them a well-deserved break while strengthening the ties that form the foundation of our success.
The journey began with a warm reception in Cochin, followed by a picturesque drive to Kumarakom, where participants checked into the tranquil Lakesong Resort. Nestled amidst lush greenery and shimmering backwaters, the setting offered the ideal beginning to a rejuvenating getaway.
The next day unfolded with an enchanting visit to Alleppey, Kerala’s famed backwater paradise. A serene boat cruise along palm-lined canals provided a glimpse into the region’s timeless beauty, an experience that left every participant spellbound.
From Kumarakom, the group ventured into the misty hills of Munnar, a destination renowned for its rolling tea gardens and cool mountain air. The scenic drive, with its winding roads and breathtaking views, was an experience in itself. In Munnar, the itinerary blended adventure with culture, featuring an exhilarating jeep safari and a captivating Kalari Pattu performance, Kerala’s ancient martial art form.
A full-day sightseeing tour followed, covering the Eravikulam National Park, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam and the Tea Museum, each adding a layer of discovery to the journey. Between excursions, evenings were spent enjoying hearty meals, laughter-filled conversations, and moments of relaxation, forging deeper connections among the SCL family.
The trip concluded back in Cochin, where participants bid farewell to Kerala’s enchanting landscapes, carrying home souvenirs, stories and a treasure trove of shared memories.
