Chandubhai Chauhan, Dealer of Hathi Cement, Sanosara, reflects on his positive journey.

It’s this attribute that has kept us aligned with Saurashtra Cement for years,” remarks Chandubhai Valjibhai Chauhan from Sanosara village in Shihor taluka, Bhavnagar.

Chandubhai, the owner of Om Krishna Agency, forged ties with Saurashtra Cement back in 1990 when he became a sub-dealer of Hathi Cement. With the company’s support, his business flourished from 1990 to 2002, eventually securing him a direct dealership since 2002.

According to Saurashtra Cement’s dealers, the company sets a stellar example of how businesses should engage with their dealers and customers.

Echoing this sentiment, Chandubhai says, “With the cooperation of company officials, I have expanded my dealership to encompass 36 villages in Shihore taluka. I personally engage with every mason and contractor to enlighten them about the superior quality of Hathi cement, enhancing its reputation among the populace. Consequently, sales in the 36 villages surrounding Sanosara have soared to 1,170 tonnes.”

Reflecting on his journey, Chandubhai Chauhan expresses, “Hathi Cement Company has not just provided me with a business opportunity but embraced me as part of its family. The company has facilitated the wall painting of the Hathi brand name across villages. Moreover, it extends exceptional service to both dealers and customers. I am grateful to the company and its officials for their unwavering support. Although we got dealership offers from other companies, our satisfaction with Saurashtra Cement Limited is so immense that we’ve never entertained the thought of switching.”

Sharing his experience, he continues, “We receive direct deliveries from the Ranavav plant. Customers are content with the quality and pricing of our products. The company consistently rolls out various schemes aimed at boosting sales. Owing to quality and punctual delivery, the people in Shihor taluka prefer Hathi over any other brand.”

“We prioritize sales and customer satisfaction over profit,” he emphasizes, underscoring his efforts to drive business growth by drawing the company’s attention to necessary steps.

Reflecting on his journey, he concludes, “I have endeavored to ensure timely deliveries. As the company emphasizes product quality, it is our duty to focus on sales, which has resulted in a continual increase in sales.”

Notably, Chandubhai’s father, Valjibhai, was once involved in the trucking business. Chandubhai’s decision to venture into the cement industry has paid off, with his elder son Nileshbhai now assisting him in managing the business. Another son, Ravibhai, is involved in a separate venture. Both sons have two children each.

Chandubhai’s positive experience with Saurashtra Cement has been so profound that he envisions involving his grandchildren in the same business, provided the company’s support remains steadfast.
