Snowcem Paints recently organized three “Business Partners Meet” in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, which were attended by dealers, channel partners and business associates from their respective zones. It was an amazing opportunity for us to interact with them to strengthen our business ties.
The main aim of this meet was to appreciate our channel partners and to rejuvenate our relationship with them. They came forward to share their feedback, suggestions and concerns which eventually helps us in all our future endeavours. We believe that the meet created a platform for us to stay connected and build a strong relationship with our channel partners.
A simultaneous workshop was also planned and organised in Diu with our cement channel partners of Gujarat. This was to introduce the full range of Snowcem products which included acrylic and cement-based paints, waterproofing coatings, etc., for them to explore business opportunities with our range of products in their existing networks.

We are also delighted with the support and faith that our channel partners have shown in us and are grateful that they have been spreading the word regarding our range of Snowcem products to their wide network of customers.

The senior officials expressed their appreciation and admiration for our channel partners for their dedication, commitment and long-term association with the company. To honour them for their hard work, a special ceremony was planned, where each and every dealer was felicitated individually by calling them up on the stage and presenting them with bouquets, shawls and gifts.

We organised Sneh Milan Samaroh across our four key markets – Junagadh, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad.
Creating Lasting Memories
We conducted the Samaroh at reputed hotels across four cities on different dates between 27th October and 3rd November 2021. Around 650 dealers and 60 market organisers attended the event. We organised various engaging activities to acknowledge their efforts, listened to their problems and motivated them to perform better in the future.
Addressing Dealers’ Concerns
Our director along with all regional heads and the accounts head, discussed the Company’s performance, vision and business plan for each region with the respective dealers and market organisers. The marketing and sales director also conducted a joint meeting with them to understand their issues as well as the market situation.
Additionally, we presented and discussed the marketing campaigns undertaken throughout the year, through a special session.
We also highlighted the acquisition and progress on business growth of ‘Snowcem Paints’ and how it helped the Company expand its pan-India footprint. Our director assured the stakeholders that we would provide dedicated support for encashing Snowcem products as a new range through their stores.
Rewarding Top Performers
The hard work and perseverance of our dealers and market organisers helped us to witness a strong business performance during the year. Recognising their efforts, we presented them with trophies and vouchers under four categories:
We also distributed gold to our dealer network based on their performances in 2020-21. In addition, we gave out annual incentives to all the invited channel partners for their contribution to our business growth. We arranged musical Programs and fun games to celebrate and enjoy the event. The participants were brimming with excitement to perform better and felt proud to be a part of Mehta Group Parivaar.
These events unite us and give us the opportunity to understand each other and prepare for a better future.

To inspire our customers, who make it happen every day, we conducted in-store branding activities that included store decoration with danglers and sticker posters. We also launched a marketing campaign to celebrate our 65th anniversary, showcasing the artwork specially made to commemorate the occasion. The designs crafted were displayed on billboards throughout Gujarat and subsequently disseminated through the Divya Bhaskar newspaper. Mr. Randhir Singh, Director (M&S), shared a humble and engaging message on several social media sites, further boosting the campaign which made each member of the team proud.
We held a short and modest ceremony in acknowledgement of the efforts of the core teams at the Ahmedabad office while adhering to social distancing guidelines. During the event, the Director (M&S) gave a rousing speech, which was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony by the oldest employees of the organisation to celebrate a memory of growing together with the Company, the years of hard work and the continued effort of every member of the team that is enabling us to move ahead with zest and courage.
Towards the end of 2020, states started lifting the lockdown in a bid to gradually bring life back to normal. With festivals around the corner, business sentiment started picking up. Rang De Dukan (RDD) 2020 was our initiative to motivate our dealers and keep the spirit of the festivals alive.
The contest encouraged dealers to decorate their shops with the RDD Kit Box that was provided to them. The box consisted of 16 point‑of‑sale (POS) products such as pen stand, paper weight, stationery kit, cap, t-shirt, etc. Dealers of Saurashtra Cement Limited (SCL) and Gujarat Sidhee Cement Limited (GSCL) enthusiastically participated in the contest and unleashed their creativity in decorating their shops within the given time period of two months.
Senior members of SCL and GSCL were the judges of the contest.
We offered a range of prizes to the winners – a television as the first prize, a fridge as the second and a microwave oven as the third. Moreover, we also offered 10 special prizes and more than 40 consolation prizes. The additional prizes included plastic chairs, wall clocks and teacup sets.
The contest was successful in boosting our dealers’ morale and encouraging them to continue doing their best, even during tough times.
We organised the function in Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Junagadh on October 22, 23 and 24 of 2019, respectively, and in Ahmedabad, Greater Gujarat on January 11, 2020. For the first three regions, the event was organised just before Diwali, the festival of lights, while in Greater Gujarat, the event was organised just before ‘Uttarayan, Makar Sankranti’, one of Gujarat’s favourite festivals.
The dealers enthusiastically participated in the event, along with their families. The aim of the event was to encourage and motivate the existing network by rewarding the performers of the previous year.
Across the locations, the event began with lighting of the lamp. The dealers were then felicitated by our Chief Guest, Mr. Randhir Singh – Director (Marketing and Sales), for their efforts, performance and support to the Mehta Group during FY 2018-19. The events in all four regions were graced with spirited performances by dance troupes, puppet artists, renowned stand-up comedian Mr. Dharsi Baredia, Bollywood singer Ms. Shilpi Paul along with her band and aspiring Gujarati singer Mr. Rahul Prajapati.
The anchor of the event kept spirits high by engaging the audience in games and dance across locations. The guests also enjoyed carnival activities such as balloon shooting, ring toss, tattoo art, nail art, etc. in the stalls set up in the venue. The guests participated in all activities with gusto.
Towards the end of the day, Mr. Singh addressed the audience and motivated them to continue doing their best. We set up a photo booth to capture all the smiling faces and memories of the night. In all four locations, the night ended with scrumptious dinner, music and dance.

The event was hosted at one of the finest resorts in Mumbai – The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre located on the seashore of Madh Island. Thirty-eight Market Organisers came from various parts of Gujarat, along with their spouses, to attend the two-day conference. The event started by lighting the lamp of knowledge and welcoming the guests. The first session discussed the Market Organiser meets organised earlier, followed by the marketing activities conducted during the year and the roadmap for the future. We then divided the Market Organisers into eight different groups and allocated different important topics to them, the discussions on which continued into the night.
While the male employees were busy with business meetings and presentations, their spouses were engrossed with various activities such as zumba session, treasure hunt and so on. The schedule of the event was charted to combine work with fun, and also to ensure the couples spend quality time with each other. In addition, the plush interiors, swimming pool, gaming zone, activity area, beach and other amenities made the event one worth remembering.
The next day, Shri Randhir Singh – Director (Marketing & Sales) graced the occasion with his presence and supervised the session where the groups presented their views, concerns, ideas and suggestions. Later, there was an open Question & Answer discussion, which saw enthusiastic participation of the Market Organisers.
The evening was dedicated to the Gala Night. Shri M S Gilotra – Managing Director and his wife, personally met with the Market Organisers and discussed prospects with them. They also felicitated the esteemed Market Organisers for their support and valued association with The Mehta Group. The Gala Night ended with games, dance, delicious food and different engaging activities.
We are sure that Manthan 2019 is now an unforgettable memory for the Market Organisers and has further strengthened their bond with The Mehta Group. All employees of The Mehta Group cherish the participation of the Market Organisers in making the event a success. The event was one that truly reflected our Group’s philosophy of ‘Together We Grow’.
“Excellence Awards” are annually given to top performing channel partners of Hathi-Sidhee cement. Glittering functions were organized for all the channel partners and their families at our major distributions hubs.
The Excellence Awards functions for Saurashtra Region were organized on 18th, 19th and 20th January 2019
at Rajkot, Junagadh and Bhavnagar respectively.
Performing dealers were awarded on the basis of overall sales volume (Saurashtra “Gaurav” and Saurashtra
“Ratna”), sales growth (Saurashtra “Utkarsh”) and product sales (Saurashtra “Ratna”). Performance for Market Organizers (Saurashtra “Sinh”) were awarded based on their attached dealer network performance.
In addition, special achievements of channel partners and their family members in the field of social work,
education, sports, etc. were also awarded.
M/s. R U & Company, Bhavnagar was presented with “Lifetime Achievement Award” for their loyal association with the organization since 1957 and continued excellence in performance as well as for promotion towards strengthening of Hathi brand in Bhavnagar region.
54 channel partners received the awards across Saurashtra region from Shri Randhir Singh, Director (Marketing & Sales), who, during his discourse appreciated the performance and support of all channel partners. He shared market, competitive and company dynamics; and coaxed channel partners to drive towards higher level of excellence in performance for consistent growth, higher profitability and success in times to come.
