Golden Horizons: A Royal Retreat

Saurashtra Cement Limited journeys into the heart of Rajasthan, celebrating partnership amidst the regal splendor of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. In an industry built on solid foundations, Saurashtra Cement Limited (SCL) knows that the strongest bonds are forged through shared experiences. Recently, the company hosted its Good Times Dealers Tour, a curated escape to the “Blue City” of Jodhpur and the “Golden City” of Jaisalmer. This heritage-filled expedition was designed as a heartfelt tribute to the dealer partners who drive SCL’s success, trading the world of logistics and targets for a world of forts, folk music, and desert stars.
From Blue Palaces to Desert Dunes

The journey commenced in Jodhpur, where the group walked through the corridors of history at the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the serene marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada. After exploring the grand Umaid Bhawan Museum and the vibrant chaos of the local Clock Tower market, the group transitioned from urban royalty to the raw beauty of the Thar Desert.

In Jaisalmer, the adventure shifted gears. The group headed to the Sam Sand Dunes, where the stillness of the desert was met with the thrill of jeep safaris and traditional camel rides. As evening fell, the dunes came alive with folk entertainment, offering a night of desert charm that mirrored the warmth of the SCL community.

A Legacy in Stone

The final leg of the tour celebrated the architectural marvels of the “Golden City.” From the intricate carvings of Patwon Ki Haveli to the living history of Jaisalmer Fort and the somber pride of the War Museum, the dealers explored the very essence of endurance—a value deeply shared by the Hathi and Sidhee Cement brands.

More Than a Journey

The tour concluded not just with souvenirs, but with strengthened ties and a renewed sense of purpose. By creating these “Good Times,” SCL reaffirms that its dealers are more than business associates; they are family. As the group departed the dunes, they carried home memories of a journey that, much like the desert forts, is built to last.
